He is a Sage Intacct Certified Consultant and possesses the GIAC Security Essentials Certification. He is a frequent lecturer for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), and various state accounting societies (GSEC). He served as both the previous president of the California CPA Education Foundation and the past chair of the AICPA IT Executive Committee.
