Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin is a seventh generation descendant of shipping and railroad tycoon, Cornelius Vanderbilt. But rather than take the easy road, she chose her own path as both a musician and entrepreneur.

Consuelo has enjoyed a fantastic career as a recording artist where her first four singles alone hit the Top 20 on the Billboard Dance Charts. Her debut single “Naked” spent 16 weeks on the charts, while your follow-up “Feel So Alive” earned you Billboard’s #2 Breakout Artist honor.

Despite enjoying chart success on both sides of the Atlantic, she also experienced more than a few pain points within the creative industry. Consuelo's entrepreneurial instincts kicked in as she set out to create solutions to frustrations faced by artists on a regular basis.

Ironically, despite mapping out her future on her terms, Consuelo is continuing her family’s legacy of connecting people. Just as Cornelius Vanderbilt bridged the country together for business and trade through shipping and railroads, Consuelo is now doing the something very similar with SohoMuse.

With my start up, I feel as if I am continuing my family’s legacy of connecting people. - Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin Co-founder and President of SohoMuse.
