In this amazing and inspiring interview, you will discover Erin Matchette who created Esteem Magazine, a much needed and brilliantly developed safe place for both girls and women to share their stories and help one another build their self-esteem. As girls mature into young women (and young women into mature women), we are constantly evolving and developing our sense of self. How do we relate to the world and in turn, how does the world respond to us? We begin to define ourselves through different elements of self-esteem: creative, emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual.
About Erin Matchette
Erin lives in British Columbia, Canada. She is a wife to Chad (since 1995) and a mom to Emily and Jack. Erin has spent the majority of her career specializing in early learning as a daycare owner/operator, preschool supervisor, and then as a trainer in both classroom curriculum and centre management. She is also the co-owner (with her husband Chad) of the Lindbjerg Academy of Performing Arts. In her spare time, Erin is passionate about musical theatre, participating in over 50 productions since the age of 10. Erin is very grateful to have worked with so many amazing women over the years in both ECE and the theatre, and hopes that many share their stories of self-esteem to inspire and encourage this community of women to continue to raise each other up.
