There's going to be a festival in Central Texas, says Joe, who's directing the first competitive tournament sanctioned by USA Water Polo since before March of 2020. The Central Texas Festival will take place over the course of two weekends at the start of October in Cedar Park and Round Rock.

Meanwhile, more full contact scrimmaging thanks to Zilla and the City of Cedar Park. James' club AquaTex made the visit to the Milburn Pool on Saturday to the enormous relief of parents, who were grateful to see athletes getting physical for a change.

And Scott Slay. He's the Chairman of TISCA Water Polo which is hosting its annual meeting (via Zoom) this coming weekend. He talks about the profound changes coming to the organization as UIL water polo takes foot in the fall of 2021.

And oh by the way, Total Waterpolo (James' other brand) finally has a podcast. Check it out here. Plus, you can now show your support for both TXWaterpolo and TotalWaterpolo by picking up some of our fancy new gear, including competitive water polo suits.
