In this episode of The Women's Pelvic Health Podcast, I am joined by Mindy Pickard, the founder of Three Treasures Acupuncture in New York City. Mindy is an Acupuncturist who specializes in women’s health and pelvic pain, including fertility issues, menopause, Vulvodynia, Interstitial Cystitis, Endometriosis, musculoskeletal pain, allergies and cosmetic acupuncture. She uses the most current evidence based research and integrates eastern and western medical philosophies into her work. She is committed to providing personal healing service to each and every client, encouraging all of her patients to be passionate advocates for their well-being.

Mindy explains how she began her career as an acupuncturist, the science behind acupuncture for chronic pain, and her unique practice of needling the perineum area, something that only three other acupuncturists in NYC do.

Mindy also shares an amazing patient success story, in addition to answering two listener questions:

1. How does acupuncture work for IC and Endo?
2. How can acupuncture help with vulvar itching and pelvic pressure?

“I would say that almost everybody does improve, almost everybody does get better and finds a quality of life. It just takes time and patience. The main thing we have to do is stop that obsessive thinking."
- Mindy Pickard

Thank you for listening and I wish all of you health, healing and happiness.
