Join me in todays podcast where I am answering a question from a listener who has a plot which only receives 3 hours of sunlight a day but would like to grow veg in this space. I also share what I've been up to today.

Today I have beenMoving plants around to make spacePricking out some seedlingsSowing seeds (melon, mizuna, chilli, chard, basil and spinach)

Veg for shady spots.£ hours sunlight is not very much sunlight at all but that doesn't mean its impossible to grow veg at all. In fact the listener who emailed in informs me that they could successfully grow Spinach, chard and rocket in this space.

After much thought this is what I came up withSalad leaves or loose leaf lettuceRadishesCarrotsBroad beansbrassicas such as cabbages, kohl rabi, broccoli and spring greens

If you have grown crops successfully in shade then please let me know
