Join me in this weeks vegetable gardening podcast where I answer a listeners question about hardening off plants and Aprils seeds and tasks for the month. I also have the latest from the plots.

The DiaryThis week I have concentrated on my home plot yet again. Slight indulgence as I wanted to get my hot tub set up for the good weather expected this week. The hot tub is great to soak in after a hard days work on the plot and means I spend more time i the garden!!!

This doesn't mean I neglected the vegetable growing no no no. I have sown Cucumbers, purple sprouting broccoli, jalapino chillis and salad leaf. I have also pricked out aubergines and peppers as well as potted up cauliflower plants.

Many more tasks completed on the podcast.Looking for an easy way to harden off plants?

I have had a question come in from a listener looking to find an less time consuming way to harden off plants. Well for me the easiest way is to get a cold frame with a lid that can be opened and closed instead of moving the plants.I have looked on Amazon to find some options that I have listed below (full disclosure I may earn commission should you buy any through these links)

This is a pretty simple coldframe and the cheapest I could find on Amazon. With 2 lids this could be a better choice.

This is similar to what I use. Not cheap but a great tool.Aprils seeds and tasks.
