We live in a content driven world: Movies, Books, Music, TV, Comics, Video Games, and even Podcasts. “Content is king!” or so they say. But of course, different types of content are appropriate for different audiences. Anyone who has watched a movie in the last several decades knows that they have ratings, that is, a marker that tells parents what age group the content of the media is appropriate for. Content ratings can make or break a movie. Advertising money depends on it heavily. But honestly, does anyone really understand them? Hannah, Wayne and Mav are joined by returning guests Terry Lee and Mark Schultis to talk about content ratings, where they come from, what they do, and how parents decide what rating they pay attention to what they can safely ignore.
