#27 Elina Osborne - Proving What's Possible on the Pacific Crest Trail - a podcast by The Wild Podcast

from 2020-03-04T10:00

:: ::

Elina Osborne is a New Zealand filmmaker who hiked 4270 kilometres from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail over 4.5 incredible months. The PCT was her first thru-hike. She did it to prove to herself what she was capable of and push beyond her personal limitations. The PCT was a life-affirming experience for her and, luckily for us, she documented the entire journey in a short film called It Is The People.

In this episode we talk about Elina's reason for hiking the PCT (her 'why), as well as the many highlights and lowlights along the way. This is a great episode for anyone who's interested in learning more about thru-hiking, especially if you're considering the PCT.
