Tina Waldrom interviews Julian Dunham and Julie-anne Laird, regional director, and co-regional director for Lausanne Oceania respectively. They discuss the importance of Connecting Influences and Ideas for Global Mission, who influencers are, and the place of issue networks when reaching the world for Christ. They also share their thoughts on the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelisation in Korea in 2024 and highlight a recent Lausanne Australia event featuring Ed Stetzer.

The Lausanne Movement is a global network of Christian influencers and leaders who are passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. It was founded in 1974 by Billy Graham and John Stott and has since become a platform for collaboration and partnership in fulfilling the Great Commission.

In this episode, Julian and Julie-anne note that the world is rapidly changing and that there is a need for diverse perspectives and approaches to share the gospel effectively. Issue networks are groups of individuals that come together to explore a particular issue or topic related to evangelism and mission. Some discussion is given to these and what is being addressed in Australia. Julian and Julie-anne highlight the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelisation in Korea in 2024.
