Bizarre leaps in the timeline, bizarre yente behavior on the part of a woman who isn't even really anyone's friend, bizarre... ly accurate depictions of political power being wielded in the interest of your constituency. It's a long episode in which a lot goes on but nothing happens. We struggle mightily in places to articulate even our more basic thoughts, but the ol' Epstein Brain is strong across the board these days.
