S3E7 - The Indians in the Lobby - a podcast by Stu & Dave

A bit of a rocky road this week, as yet another set of minor plotlines tangles itself into something resembling a coherent storyline, centered around "O NO, IT'S THANKSGIVING!" as a motivator of urgency. That said, this ep also has some of the best, simplest lines written in the entire series, and a comedic performance from Martin Sheen.

Clearly a product of its time, the show treads an interesting line between what we collectively and monstrously wrought upon millions of human souls for the sin of being brown, and a decently thoughtful portrayal and acknowledgement of their continued fight in modern times. Stu has some complicated thoughts about cultural appropriation and stereotypes. Fuck Leo pretty hard this time around.

Music from Red Hot Chili Peppers as I did NOT know that Anthony Kiedis identifies with a Native American tradition, and also from Foster the People because lol a school shooting.
