Welcome to today's YouTube for Realtors WALK AND TALK #8- I have so many things going through my head every day about YouTube for Realtors that I just want to get it all out! I get asked so many questions everyday and coach so many agents it's time to answer all of those in depth, on my walk to the gym!

 

In today’s episode I do a deep dive into thumbnail CTR’s and How They Can 10X Your Real Estate YouTube Channel. So, consider how I'll describe your thumbnails to you or how they should appear without using any visual aids. It focuses on mental homies more than anything. We're taking a stroll and chatting. I'm pinching myself right now because I can't believe what I'm seeing: 174 properties sold for $94 million in the fiscal year (April 21-April 22). Hitting those numbers is not possible not just because of the words I share to you guys, one of the reasons is because of the thumbnails. Remembering the beginnings on how we upload videos on Facebook without any custom thumbnails, simply searching for an interesting clip and selecting what worked best. It took a lot to figure out that I need a custom thumbnail. It took a long time for me to realize that I require a custom thumbnail. And now that we've come a long way on that, I've hired an editor to create all of my fantastic thumbnails. All of the videos are available for free on our YouTube channel.

 

Now before we go deeper in talking about thumbnail, mind you that your click-to-rates is not 100% predicated to your thumbnail. It is a combination of your thumbnail and the title. Even Netflix is also twitching their thumbnail. We’re going to talk about YouTube videos and their thumbnails, point number 1, Bold colors. Red and blue are most commonly used. The second is big words, in only about two to five words max. You’ve got to have those words way bigger that could pop up on the page. Thirds point is a close up of our face whenever possible. More on a personal branding stuff showing your face on our thumbnail. There’s still more to learn come and share this podcast while I do the walk and talk.
