Citibank Says Bitcoin At Tipping Point&Twitter To Buy $1.25 Billion in BTC? - a podcast by Thinking Crypto

Bitcoin is at the “tipping point of its existence” thanks to large institutional investment and growing regulatory groundwork, according to a new report by Citi. Twitter just announced a $1.25 billion convertible note offering. Given the recent treasury strategy of Microstrategy, could Jack Dorsey be planning to put bitcoin on Twitter's balance sheet? MicroStrategy has purchased an additional ~328 bitcoins for ~$15.0 million in cash at an average price of ~$45,710 per bitcoin. As of 3/1/2021, they hodl ~90,859 bitcoins acquired for ~$2.186 billion at an average price of ~$24,063 per bitcoin. Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary, aka Mr. Wonderful, has begun investing in bitcoin. Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten is now allowing users to spend bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at merchants throughout Japan. Italian supercar manufacturer Mazzanti is roaring into the crypto space with the acceptance of bitcoin payments and the launch of a security token offering (STO). Cardano’s Mary upgrade and token gains are poised to compete with Ethereum, while metrics suggest that Ethereum is still king.
