The key to unlock XRP's utility is the OCC's Payments Charter 1.0 which will give a level playing field across the US green lighting Banks to leverage Ripple ODL. Brian Brooks and the OCC in July gave regulatory approval for US banks to custody crypto and phase 2 will be the Payments Charter. Letter's posted on the OCC's websites shows Ripple's employees, Ryan Zagone and Jess Cheng, have been in contact with the OCC for years looking for Crypto regulatory clarity.
