Currents: Episode 1 // Welcome to the Show! - a podcast by Rei Chou

I’m kicking off a new podcast! It’s called “Currents” and will include insights, invitations to practice and interviews with all kinds of inspiring humans. That’s right, this is meant to be an intimate and inspired space to get to connect and learn from me and others about what it means to bring the divine more fully into this world and our lived experience.

We’ll be covering everything from understanding eco-systems and how an interconnected view of the world can help us think differently about ourselves and our businesses, to conversations with leaders about how they moved through their own moments of transformation, to musings by yours truly that I hope will help you on your path toward realizing your fullest joy and potential.

While some of these conversations will be free, I am putting most of them behind the lowest tier pay wall. WHY!? Because I don’t want everyone and their mom to be able to listen and comment!

That’s right, I want to have open, honest and candid conversations with a community of like-hearted humans while being accessible aka not an invite only close-doored space.

What this pay-wall does:

1.) It ensures those who are listening want to be here. They care, and are contributing members of this community (many of whom I will probably interview at some point!)

2.) It weeds out trolls and people with nothing better to do than make punches from the sideline.

3.) It creates a safer environment for those who are being interviewed to speak honestly about their experience knowing that it’s not going to be blasted across the internet (let’s be honest, you guard and change your tone for a public appearance vs. a conversation with friends).

I hope this ensures that the people who really want to be here are the ones to listen in and I hope that’s you!

The monthly cost is literally the cost of a matcha latte (my treat beverage) so you can think of your contribution caffeinating my morning but it will actually be going to subsidize the cost of a new BIPOC Leadership Cohort I’m putting together to make energy + other healing work accessible to those who need it most.

Of course, if the payment is out of your means, WRITE TO ME! I want to make sure everyone who should be here can be so no one is turned away and if the cost is at all a barrier, I’m happy to wave it in exchange for a little bit about you and ensuring you’re a fit for this content.
