About the Documentary Started
More Than Two Years Ago and
Why It’s so Relevant Today.
The Reunited States follows everyday heroes on the courageous journey of bridging our divides; including Susan Bro, the mother of Heather Heyer who has become an outspoken anti-racism advocate; Erin and David Leaverton, a Republican couple from Texas who travelled to all 50 states in an attempt to understand the underpinnings of our divisions; Greg Orman an Independent candidate who ran for Governor of Kansas; and Steven Olikara, founder of the Millennial Action Project, a movement of young lawmakers dedicated to finding solutions by working across party lines.
Inspired by the book of the same name by Mark Gerzon, the film urges us to consider that everyone has a role to play in reuniting the country.
THE REUNITED STATES nationwide release Tuesday February 9th on Amazon, iTunes and various VOD platforms.
