About Teresa
"I was raised by my mother along with 7 other siblings. I am the third child of nine. I grew up on welfare. I grew up in a close knit community, Twin Lakes, MI. I went to Whitehall Schools. I grew up during a time when the saying, "it takes a village to raise a child" had real meaning. I currently live in Muskegon, MI with my husband of 14 years, Robert Dye. I have a blended family, I have 3 daughters, 2 sons, 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and a great granddaughter."

Teresa has been writing poetry since 1999, which is one of her gifts and passions. Her poetry is a result of her life experiences, as well as those of her family and close friends.
