In this book, retired Pastor Cal Emerson shares life experiences that came close to destroying his relationship with God. Yet because of this formula he learned to experience a peace that extends beyond reason and a very positive outlook when facing difficult circumstances.
Calvin Emerson graduated with an engineering degree from Michigan State University and managed the northern Michigan office of a construction company for five years. His third profession is being a pastor, which he has done for 28 years in one church.
For eleven years, Calvin represented Adidas athletic products for Michigan. He later became a sales manager for a 21-state area. Calvin received a Bronze Shoe Award as the Adidas Salesman of the Year in 1982.
Calvin left the corporate world at thirty-nine to embark on a new journey in ministry as he pastored his first church. He received his master's degree in ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University. His retirement years have kept him busy speaking and writing.
