Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin moved 94,000 troops to the Ukraine-Crimea border in an attempt to intimidate the former Soviet Republic's president Volodymyr Zelensky over the disputed territory. Is this merely a spat over some land or is it part of a larger overall plan by Putin to gain more global economic and territorial power?
In this edition of Thought to Action, our panel from the London Center for Policy Research and special guest former DIA Agent Rebekah Koffler, author of PUTIN'S PLAYBOOK: RUSSIA'S SECRET PLAN TO DEFEAT AMERICA look deeply into what's transpiring between Russia and Ukraine, how Putin looks at his position and potentially the other former Soviet Republics as well as how the Russian President is using economic and energy supply leverage to gain power over NATO nations financially while flexing his muscles militarily closer to home.
US President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have issued warnings against Russian advancement into Ukraine, but how seriously is Putin taking them considering the administration's overall foreign policy track record?
Another interesting development over the Crimea dispute is the sudden, and perhaps rather suspicious, turnaround in policy toward the situation by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, whose recent electoral victory has been called into question. After 7 years of remaining neutral, Lukashenko has not only come out in vocal support of Putin's occupation of Crimea (after the Russian President financially supported him as he weathered citizens' protests) but has offered to host Russian nuclear weaponry on its soil.

Our Panel:
London Center President LTC (Ret) Tony Shaffer
LCPR Distinguished Fellow Navy Capr. (Ret) Pete O'Brien
Former DIA Agent Rebekah Koffler - Author, PUTIN'S PLAYBOOK: RUSSIA'S SECRET PLAN TO DEFEAT AMERICA
