When politicians and gun control activists prepare to take aim at the U.S. Constitution's 2nd Amendment and citizens' right to defend themselves, they often perpetuate falsehoods and set up straw men to push their collective agenda.

The 2nd Amendment is under fire from politicians who look lovingly at the gradual disarming of the public by the United Kingdom (which took nearly a century to accomplish) in hopes US citizens can be manipulated enough to allow the circumvention of the 2nd Amendment to the Bill of Rights.
