On July 14, 2022, Marine Sgt. Herschel "Woody" Williams was laid to rest at the U.S. Capital as an honor to his service and heroics at Iwo Jima in World War 2. Sgt. Williams was also the last World War 2 Medial of Honor recipient. While LCPR President LTC Tony Shaffer explores Williams' life and heroics with biographer Dr. Bryan Mark Rigg, author of FLAMETHROWER, they also delve into the political controversy surrounding the Marine's well-earned award.

In addition, LTC Shaffer and Dr. Rigg go into a deeper conversation about the atrocities of the Imperial Japanese, which were arguably as bad or worse than their Nazi allies and the Soviets yet left out of the history books.
