In an interesting reversal of roles, it is Bon Iver superfan Seb who has to restrain his inner fanboy at the start of this episode.

They chat about Bon Iver’s incredible NPR concert, how they keep shows fresh, improvisation and the development of songs during a touring cycle. Mike talks about the ‘terror and beauty’ in using a Messina and has an excellent stab at explaining how it works.

Seb and Verity ask Mike about his experiences ofPeoplefestival in Berlin - including abduction concerts and the formation of some unlikely musical collaborations.
