After a short break, Timeout is back with a very special guest, Jen Welter. Jen is the NFL's first female coach as well as the first female running back in men's pro football. She is also the founder of GrrridIron Girls, the first national girls flag football initiative, and is now an author after writing the children's book Critter Fitter. Jen joined us to discuss being a first-time author, how sports impacted her early on, and how she continues to build a career outside of sports while still identifying as a member of the athletic community.
