For 61 days and nights a few hundred members of the affluent community of Portland, Oregon have peacefully protested over social injustice, racial inequality and police reform. Those protests became decidedly less peaceful when armed federal agents arrived in the city to bring an end to the protests, with tear gas, batons and arrests. Since then, the Right has used these conflicts as a warning cry to Americans still on the fence, 3 months out from the election, about a country in civil disarray caused by Left Wing mobs, that will only get worse if people vote blue in November. Tonight, we break down the protests and why some think that this may be Trump's last best play to stay in the White House. In our Just One Question segment we discuss Netflix record 160 Emmy nominations and whether Network television is now irrelevant.  Our good friend, musician, Jimmy Pearson, jumped on after that and talked about making music and teaching during the pandemic and then performed a song. We went back into Just One Question to discuss the internal probe into The Ellen DeGeneres Show and why this is the first time people are taking allegations against Ellen seriously. We closed the show celebrating the 124th anniversary of Miami being incorporated and discussed the city's influence on pop culture and entertainment.
