Medical school rejection is tough! You spend so much time, maybe even your whole life applying, prepping and asking around how to get into med school, then you hit this road bloc
First, remember that it’s not the end of the world. There are doctors who don’t get into the school of their choice on the first try, some take gap years after premed, and some just don’t apply at all during application season. So, it happens and you are not behind.
There is hope and there are things you can do right now to help improve your chances of being accepted the next time you apply.
Self reflect and remember what you can offer right now. Make sure your application is able to stand out, in a good way, and not just be like any other med school applicants’.
