With so much to do and a never-ending list of things to think about, it may seem impossible to have a job in med school.

In an ideal world, when you realize you want to work in medicine, the only work you want is related to healthcare. But in reality, there are monthly bills to pay and tuition fees that aren’t getting any lower. Plus, you realize that those salaries you googled are only entering your bank account until a few years later.

There’s a lot to pay and save up for. Depending on your situation, you may be tempted to look for a job while balancing your life as a medical student. But let’s say you do successfully find a job, which becomes the higher priority- your job or med school!?

I had to deal with this dilemma myself. So, I wanted to give you my thought process on what you should consider before making your next steps. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you’re ready until you have certain things in place like this key piece of management reminder that I give you in this new episode!
