How do you study during your first year of med school!?

As a new med student, it can be really tough to start to find your footing and see what works. What got you through premed, doesn't always take you all the way to med school graduation, residency match, and even past Step 1.

Histology, Pathology, Krebs Cycle and many other topics can take up a lot of your studying time. And by the time you get to your rotations, there's, even more, to take on and you're actually there with the patient rather than scenarios and diagrams on a test.

This is why it's important to invest in having a study system that works for you early on. You can use it to tackle many different topics, learn what you have to learn and get ready for the next test

Christy is a first-year med student who is in the process of going through the early years of med school and she has a lot of questions that I've encountered as well as my students about how to study for the first year of med school.

Check out how Anki, question banks and a timer can get you prepared for the next test in this latest Doc Talks video!
