Sometimes there's too much pressure on pre-meds on coming up with a plan on how to study for the MCAT. Getting into med school

I get it, it's one of the many important tests you have to take on your way to becoming a doctor. But under all that pressure, is a plan that has to be made on how to study.

There are lot of ways to study, resources that everyone seems to be recommending and all-in-one study systems that have worked for some but not all. There is no way with a pre-med's student's schedule let alone a med student's schedule can you go through all that info and figure out what to do, it's impossible.

In this video we talk to, Jes and she is really curious about what to do to prepare for the MCAT. We get into several things that you have to accept before studying; that you sometimes there's too much info than the time allotted to study them and you will almost never get 100% of everything in the resource on your first try.

I also discuss a way to think about studying where it's not always the time you spend, but what you do with that time and, spoiler alert, it will involve a timer.

So, learn how to study for the MCAT and what I would have done had I been in Jes' shoes in this latest Doc Talks!
