On this episode, I sit down with Dale Lindsey, former long time NFL player and coach, and current USD head coach as they break camp for a new season. I did this at his office! Yes, my first mobile recording! Coach Lindsey had a locker next to Jim Brown, played against Ray Nitschke, Gale Sayers Dick Butkis and more! Was the Defensive coordinator in San Diego and coached Junior Seau. He compares him to Brian Urlacher and Ray Lewis. He left the infamous “thin thirty” at Kentucky (look it up) and went on to be drafted and have a great career. He talks about players and pensions then and now, his dinner at the same table as Joe DiMaggio, the origins of Rock and roll and how his wife makes him listen to Opera, while he preferred the Opry!
