We welcome our sweet friend Trey Swofford whose life story is insane. This will be Part 1 with Part 2 to follow soon.

Trey got shot on his 33rd birthday on November 16, 2019 in Dallas Texas, on his way home from his birthday celebration. It was about 11 pm
and the police believe that it was some sort of a gang initiation attack. The shooter was between 14 - 17 years old - Trey made eye contact with him and
will never forget his face. The police believe that the attackers followed Trey home.

Trey saw the flash of the gun and everything slowed down - he felt a higher power at that very moment - he ducked to the left and the bullet came through the windshield and hit through his ear, hit the hardest part of his
skull and bounced out on the other side.
There was blood everywhere - he was in so much shock he felt no pain. His adrenaline was through the roof - his friend who was driving was screaming. Trey was the calm one - he was not scared - there were 3 shots.
He kept praying to God not to let him die. He kept trying not to faint. Once he got in the ambulance he did pass out and doesn't remember much.
He wants to give a shout out to the incredible team of doctors that took care of him in Kessler Park Hospital.

He tells us about all the drama when he arrived at the hospital and he was hoping that they would save his life. He saw pictures of his ear hanging off his head - the doctors used super glue and it healed so amazingly.
The worst part was when the doctors had to take out bullet fragments with magnets. He says that hurt like hell. The hardest part by far was when he had to call his Mom to tell her what happened. He still gets emotional and
all he wants is for her to be proud of him. The doctors said they had never seen someone shot the way Trey was and survive. He realized how close to death he came and gets super emotional when his Mom picks him up
from the hospital. The shooter was never found.

Trey shows us the actual bullet that he was shot with - INSANE
Physically he was in pain for 2 weeks but emotionally it took a huge toll on him for a while. It messed him up badly with severe anxiety. Terrible PTSD.
Because it happened so close to his house he drives by the scene every single day.

Trey shares his terrifying experience with LSD that got him out of the PTSD and changed his entire life.

Trey then shares all about his new project GalleryDefi that he is opening with his friends Travis, Trey and Buddylove. It is an absolutely incredible undertaking and will be a first of its kind.
Listen to the unbelievably exciting things that they have in store. This is insane. We are all so excited and cannot wait for it to open.

Trey ends this first show by sharing about the suicide of his best childhood friend James Apple who stood naked on a billboard in Ft. Worth before leaping to his death. Trey was forever changed by this horrific
loss and the same night went out and got into a bad crowd of people and started doing drugs out of anger and was stuck in that world for several years.
He is proud of James sister who just released a musical to honor James and to bring awareness to mental illness. The musical is called Boy On A Billboard. Everyone check it out.
