Ep 12 Part 2: My journey as a researcher with Pranay Patil - a podcast by The Other Side

Episode 12 is here! And there are quite a few exciting announcements at the start. (Don't skip:p) There's a new series coming up and we're really excited about it! But on to the episode. Our guest today, for once, is not an engineer, but a physics graduate, Pranay Patil. Pranay was part of the first physics program at IIT Madras, and he then went on to earn a Ph.D. at Boston University and is currently pursuing his post-doc in France. Physics is the first love of most engineers and in this episode, Pranay talks about his tryst with physics and about what motivated him to pursue it full time as a career. We also talk about the pros and cons of an academic career, what it takes to be a researcher, and about how one must go about laying the foundation for a career in research.
