The Matildas have added 15-year-old Mary Fowler to their squad who coach Alen Stajcic rates as the most talented prospect he's seen in women's football.

Fresh from scoring 10 goals in six games for the Young Matildas at the AFF Women's Championship, striker Mary Fowler will join the Australian set-up in America ahead of their friendly clashes with Brazil, the US and Japan.

The Cairns product has emerged from almost total obscurity to thrust herself into potential Women's World Cup calculations with a year to go until the showpiece tournament in France.

She is currently not signed with any W-League club, but rather plays for Bankstown City in the NSW Women's NPL.

A week after welcoming English defender Steven Taylor to the A-League, Rudan has signed former Poland youth team goalkeeper Filip Kurto from Dutch club Roda JC.

The 27-year-old has been hailed as potentially one of the best goalkeepers in the league by Rudan, who has kept an eye on his career in Europe.
