A quiet day in Australian football news yesterday - with just 2 A-league signings to report on - both for the Central Coast Mariners.
We start with Burnley midfielder Aiden O'Neill has returned to his native Australia on a season-long loan with The Mariners.
The Brisbane-born 20-year-old managed three Premier League appearances for the Burnley in the 2016-17 season prior to a short spell with Oldham Athletic.
He joined Fleetwood Town on loan last term and appeared 21 times in League One.
O'Neill has represented Australia at Under-23 level.
Central Coast Mariners have also confirmed the signing of impressive right-back Matthew Millar for the 2018/19 Season.
The 21-year-old signed a one-year deal after impressing coach Mike Mulvey from more than 50 players from the NPL who trialled at the Mariners.
Millar has played in the Hyundai A-League before, having made four appearances with Melbourne City in the 2015/16 Season.
