Goalkeeper Tando Velaphi is back at Perth Glory, signing a one-year deal with the Hyundai A-League club.

The 31-year-old keeper made more than 70 appearances for Glory in his first stint at the club between 2007 and 2011.

Velaphi has also played for The Roar, Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City and most recently, Wellington Phoenix.

Coach Tony Popovic has added plenty of experience to his squad for the 2018/19 Season, with Velaphi joining the likes of Ivan Franjic, Matthew Spiranovic, Brendon Santalab and Tomi Mrcela in the west.

Glory is expected to reveal further additions to their squad in coming days, with Socceroos left-back Jason Davidson heavily linked with a move to the club.

A meeting at the end of July will help determine how close the long-held dream of an A-League second division is to becoming a reality.
