Meet Jesal and Rochard. We are the Transatlantic Rebels.

In Episode 5, our special M.I.A. series consisting of in-depth past reviews concludes with her fourth album "Matangi" from 2013. We will follow this in the coming weeks with a podcast for her (possibly final) album "AIM" which gets released on 9th September 2016.

We talk about how Rochard actually MET Maya Arulpragasam herself IRL; assess the spirituality of the album; argue over hypothetical track-listings; and briefly preview "AIM" at the end.

Jesal is from the UK, and Rochard is from America. We like to talk in depth about albums, films, TV shows and books.

Rochard has a background in TV, acting, writing and many other areas of art creation. Jesal has a background in music: DJ, producer, artist, critic and other stuff.
