The Snowtown Murders, Part 1 - a podcast by True Blue Crime

from 2019-07-21T07:00

:: ::

Tuesday 16th of August, 1994, Lower Light, 50 kilometres north of Adelaide, South Australia.

No wind and no rain - the perfect conditions for brothers Jack and Ron Finch to conduct weed spraying on their 4000 acre farm. The brothers worked tirelessly all morning. After lunch, they returned to their arduous work, spotting what appeared to be a fox burrow up ahead. Ron pointed it out and Jack manoeuvred the car around the obstacle, before they happened upon a bone. They both took it for a sheep bone at first, but a closer look confirmed otherwise. It was a human skull. ‘That’s no burrow,’ Ron said, 'that’s someone’s grave back there...'

Join Shaun and Chloe as they discuss one of Australia's most brutal and notorious series of serial murders. In part one, they focus on the nucleus of perpetrators and their backgrounds.
