The Pacific Northwest region of the United States was the stomping grounds for some of the most infamous serial killers in history. Many of which we have already done episodes on, Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway, Jerry Brudos, and Randall Woodfield, to name a few.

Well, in the mid-late 1980's there was another sexual-sadist serial killer dumping the bodies of sex-workers in the dense forests that the frequent rainfall in Oregon provide. Dayton Leroy Rogers, known as the Molalla Forest Murderer, killed street women, usually addicts, sex-workers and runaways. He would pick them up, usually under the pretense of sex for money, then take the majority of his victims to secluded areas, where he would bind, torture, rape and murder his victims usually with a knife, leaving the bodies in a forest outside Molalla, Oregon.
