This morning, Drudge Report ran a list of headlines on its home page raising alarm over the latest COVID-19 variant. This new variant first appeared in southern Africa, and the 27-nation European Union is already proposing halting air travel from the region. Why are the media and governments so quick to generate fear over the new variant? As Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote in the January 2022 print issue, “They are turning coronavirus, the environment, race and other issues into weapons for forcing through their agenda.”

The early American settlers were courageous pioneers of the New World. They saw America as a sort of promised land from God, but in order to blaze a trail through the unknown and build America, the early pioneers needed courage. Likewise, God’s Church needs courage to face the storms ahead. His people need the courage to pioneer a new world! In this segment, we discuss a few specific ways to develop more of that much-needed godly courage.
