Darcy Hordichuk joined Matt and Blake for a very engaging chat from his home in Arizona.

Darcy talked about hockey in Arizona for his boys, saying he thinks the sport is more popular there than in Vancouver. He talked about all the talent that the state is producing thanks to all the former NHL players there to coach. Darcy talked about watching the Michigan team, including a couple of Canadian juniors. Talked about his time growing up in Saskatchewan and what there was to do there. Darcy talked about a world in hockey that doesn't exist anymore. He says it's so different from now and all the fighting that he did.

Darcy talked about the players that passed away, who were primarily fighters. He talked about how he tried to best take care of himself after taking so many punches. Talked about signing with the Canucks and coming into Vancouver with a new regime. He talked about what it was like to be a part of such a fun group. Darcy thought a guy like him shouldn't have lasted more than two years but can give himself a little bit of credit for being able to play. Hordichuk told the story of what actually happened between Boogaard and what AV told him to do.
