DJ Cottich AKA Soulparanos Born in 1976, he grew up with radio fm, listening to the commercial release. At the age of 13 years old, he was still listening to Madonna & Iron Mayden!!! One time in its ghetto, he met some guys who listened to a tape, within Fat Larry’s Band, Bt Express, Eddie Kendricks, Samba Soul & Khemistry !! What a shock in his life !! So he started to buy every various artist cds released in the Virgin mega store, but unfortunatly there wasn’t the best & the rare funk & soul in those cds, After years looking for the right and left to find hidden gems of soul music, listening to new jack & rnb in the 90′s, he decide to find out some “old school” record store, in little shops…once got inside, I heard sounds I had never heard before, because it’s vinyl !! That’s it !! All the best & rare tracks was there, but now he needed money to buy those vinyls & 45,of course he needed a turntable !!! And that’s how it all begun !! Now he is a vinyl collector since 2000, member of The Soulparanos since 2005 & Dj since 2007. He plays its sound in Paris, L.A & Madrid for 2 years, but now, instead of playing Dj for a few hundred bucks, he prefer play for friends’s free & make various artist cds, before to produce its own sound in the future… “Salute Eld & TSONYC !!
