Who was one of the three most prominent evangelical leaders of the last part of the 1800s and also a hymn writer of over 8,000 hymns?  If you find these aspects of Fanny Crosby's life amazing, the amount of the Bible she memorized would overwhelm most moderns and certainly put us to shame.  In addition, she did this despite having been blinded in infancy.  She is indeed a remarkable woman whom God used in many ways.  Like this old favorite hymn, I Am Thine, O Lord, many of her songs are still found in our hymnals and we sing them today.
