"Out of the mouth of babes..." (Ps 8:2), is a saying many of us have used.  We find that songs written for children often find their way to much wider acceptance and enjoyment.  Such is the case with this hymn, Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us.  William Bradbury ministered in the musical education of children in New York City, composing numerous songs and publishing Sunday school songbooks.  Having been inspired by his banker-turned-composer mentor, Lowell Mason, William helped change American church music and even helped usher in the era of gospel music.
