Kawhi Leonard & Paul George Underperformed In The Playoffs Last Season, And Their Body Language / Actual Presence On The Court Throughout The Regular Season Was Appalling At Times. In The Few Regular Season Games That They Played Together, Kawhi Seemed To Struggle With The Added Pressure He’d Recieve When Playmaking, And Paul Was A Streaky Shooter At Best, Who Showed Flashes On His Brilliance In Spurts, With Very Little Consistency To Follow It All Up With.

When Doc Rivers Was Sacked, We’d Already Heard Rumours Of Locker-Room Tension Spilling Over Into The Public Domain, With A Few Media Outlests Reporting Of How The OGs (Original Guard) - Comprising Of Pat Bev, Lou Will & Reigning 6th Man Of The Year Trez Harrell - Had All Grew Disgruntled Regarding The Preferential Treatment That Kawhi & Paul Recieved, Yet They Still Failed To Step Up When Needed Most, In A Clear Cut Case Of “I Can Do Bad All By Myself”, Which Now Leaves The Clippers Organozation In A Catch 22... Do You Run It Back With More Firepower, Trade Some Of The More Disgruntled / Vocal Vets, Or Trade PG13 Before You Risk Losing Out On Any Potential Return Of Investment, After Haemorrhaging Their Entire Future Draft Selections, And A Pretty Darn Good Player, In Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, To End Up With A 2nd Star Who Can’t Get It Done In The Clutch.

The L.A. Clippers Will Have To Improve, By Any Means Necessary, Under New Head Coach Ty Lue, We Can Expect To See A Little Bit More Dynamism In The Offence, While Also Solidifying Their Front Court Defence, To Prepare For A Deep Post Season Run This Coming Season. Whether They Choose To Make A Few Trades, Sign Some Free Agents, Or Incentivise The Guys With Pre-Drafted SuperMax Contract Extensions, Predicated On Them Winning The Conference, And The Title.
