My First Bike Race: Alec Hoover of SCAD-Savannah - Espisode 36 - a podcast by Coach Tim Hall

Our third installment of the My First Bike Race series is with Alec Hoover, of Savannah, GA. Alec started riding in 2012 and wasted no time getting into racing at the Tour of the Catskills in New York a few months later. He shares the story of starting the race on a 50 mph descent with a pack of 44 Cat 5 racers, and then a year later he went back and won the overall by less than 10 seconds! Alec is now the head cycling coach at SCAD-Savannah, this after dropping out of college before finding the sport. Sit back and enjoy this episode!
