Today on Unlicensed Therapy I am joined by Tony Hinchcliffe. Tony is the host of the podcast “Kill Tony” and has written for shows like Comedy Central Roast. On this episode Tony shares with us the bridges he’s burned in his career, one being one of, if not the only, company that produce specials for Netflix and Amazon prime. What started as having a diva moment about not wanting to perform in front of an audience made up of mainly of mentally disabled people turned into cutting off a major connection in the industry. As we continue on with the theme of disappointment, Tony shares with us an anecdote of a wild night with Ted Sarandos. The night ended in a handshake regarding filming of future episodes of Kill Tony for Netflix. Days go by with no calls returned and Tony eventually learns that not only this prospect was not going to happen but that it this has also happened to other artists. As we reach the end of the podcast Tony and I get political. We juxtapose Trumps presidency along with his policy on Covid and wrap it up with each of our take on racism in America. Stay with us as we delve deeper here on Unlicensed Therapy.
