in us” transforms how we face life’s challenges. Seven Deadly Sins. It is one of the ways followers of Jesus have described the ways we try to make life work apart from Jesus. Seven things that look like life but are not life at all. What are they? Why do they attract us? And how does Jesus rescue us from them and reshape us to live a different way? Jesus does not just forgive and forget; nor is he interested in our lame business of sin-management. No, Jesus wants more for us. He wants us to live like he lived, life as God intended. He lives within us to change our way of life, to reshape us . . . from one degree of glory to another. It may sound fancy and far-fetched, but it is as simple as turning to His grace and taking up new disciplines as He walks with us through the stuff of everyday life.
