Jorge earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering and master's degree in Structural engineering, both from Utah State University. While in school he landed two engineering internships with Boeing-one specifically geared towards payloads design engineering and the other towards structural and payloads design engineering. He went on to work for Cartwright Architects and Engineers as a structural Engineer upon graduation. He is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Southern California and currently works for Boeing as a structural and payloads design engineer.
