On this episode of the Utah Puck Report, Jay interviews Des Moines Buccaneers'head coach Peter Mannino on what it was like growing up playing in the infamous HoneyBaked Hockey Club in Michigan and climbing the junior ranks in the NAHL.

We also dive into how he decided to commit to the University of Denver after playing with the Tri-City Storm in the USHL. Peter also details winning the NCAA championship against North Dakota, beating out Jordan Parise in the 2004-05 season.

He also describes being undrafted in his senior year but ultimately signing a contract with the New York Islanders but getting completely embarrassed in the NHL.

We then talk about his time in Utah playing for the Grizzlies and how it was the best thing that ever happened to his career.
