This week we have a very special episode, co-hosted by our first intercontinental guest: Lee Tyrrell, the UK-based creator of The Sound Test podcast, where for over three years, Lee has hosted live VGM celebrations on YouTube and interviewed renowned composers, including the subject of today's show: legendary musician and SID chip composer Ben Daglish. Lee has curated a playlist designed to celebrate Daglish's life and work, and we really think you're going to enjoy this week's helping of Very Good Music.
VGMVGM hasn't explored the SID very much, so this deep dive is long overdue. It barely scratches the surface of this huge, historic part of the VGM landscape, so we encourage you to go on a deep dive of your own into the wonderful world of the C64 SID and its successors.
